pygplates.GpmlFiniteRotation

class pygplates.GpmlFiniteRotation

Bases: PropertyValue

A property value that represents a finite rotation.

A GpmlFiniteRotation can also be pickled.

Changed in version 0.42: Added pickle support.

__init__(finite_rotation)

Create a finite rotation property value from a finite rotation.

Parameters:

finite_rotation (FiniteRotation) – the finite rotation

finite_rotation_property = pygplates.GpmlFiniteRotation(finite_rotation)

Methods

__init__(finite_rotation)

Create a finite rotation property value from a finite rotation.

accept_visitor(visitor)

Accept a property value visitor so that it can visit this property value.

clone()

Create a duplicate of this property value (derived) instance, including a recursive copy of any nested property values that this instance might contain.

get_finite_rotation()

Returns the finite rotation.

get_geometry()

Extracts the geometry if this property value contains a geometry.

get_value([time=0])

Extracts the value, of this possibly time-dependent property value, at the reconstruction time.

set_finite_rotation(finite_rotation)

Sets the finite rotation.

get_finite_rotation()

Returns the finite rotation.

Return type:

FiniteRotation

set_finite_rotation(finite_rotation)

Sets the finite rotation.

Parameters:

finite_rotation (FiniteRotation) – the finite rotation
